Role Description The Senior Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Melbourne Area. This role oversees key client accounts, builds solid long-term relationships, and acts as the primary point of contact for day-to-day communication.
The Senior Account
Manager leads key client's campaign planning and execution across Chinese social media, coordinating internal creative, content, and performance teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Responsibilities include managing budgets and timelines, presenting monthly plans, monthly reports and insights, and ensuring campaigns meet client objectives and performance targets. The role also contributes to new business opportunities, supports pitches,
and helps refine agency processes to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong account management and client service skills, including stakeholder management, relationship building, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in integrated marketing and communications, covering digital marketing, social media management especially RedNote, influencer campaigns, and branding strategy.
- Competence in campaign planning and performance analysis, with skills in reporting, data interpretation, and using insights to optimize results.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated understanding of Chinese-speaking audiences and Asia-Pacific markets; proficiency in Mandarin or another relevant Asian language is highly regarded.
- Background in advertising, media, or marketing agencies, ideally in multicultural or cross-border marketing contexts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving client needs and priorities.
- Holds similar role at least one year.
