Senior Administrative Officer - Care Programs Job no: 943680 Work type: Part time Location: Barossa Categories: Administration, Business and Management - Regional Operation Centre Community Services – Nuriootpa - Salary: $74,095 – $78,694 per annum (adjusted to hours worked) - Part-time, temporary until June 2027 WHAT ARE WE OFFERING? As the Senior Administrative Officer, you will provide essential administrative coordination and program support across the Transition Care (TCP), End of Life Care (EOLC) and Regional Operation Centre. This role ensures accurate data management, reporting, financial administration and record keeping, while supporting clinical teams, case managers, service providers and stakeholders to deliver efficient, well-coordinated client care.
You will play an important role in maintaining effective systems, improving processes and supporting quality service delivery. Through strong organisation, attention to detail and a commitment to customer service, you will help ensure programs operate smoothly, information is managed appropriately, and clients receive timely, coordinated support. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Are you confident managing accurate records, reporting and data processes that support effective health program delivery?
- Do you provide reliable administrative support to clinical teams, clients, service providers and stakeholders?
- Are you quick to spot issues, solve problems and suggest practical improvements to systems and processes?
- How comfortable are you handling financial administration, including invoices, claims and reporting requirements?
- Do you communicate clearly,
maintain confidentiality and build strong working relationships in a healthcare setting?
How you will contribute
- Support the day‑to‑day administration of Transition Care and End of Life Choices (EOLC).
- Maintain accurate client records, databases, reports and documentation to support quality service delivery.
- Coordinate invoices, claims, financial processes and administrative requirements to support program accountability.
- Provide administrative assistance to clinical teams, case managers, service providers and stakeholders.
- Contribute to improving systems, processes and service outcomes through quality improvement and effective coordination. WHAT WILL WE OFFER YOU IN RETURN?
