Are you an experienced corridor management professional looking to make a meaningful impact on Queensland's transport network? Join the Darling Downs District team and help manage, protect and enhance the state-controlled road corridor while supporting the delivery of major infrastructure programs and projects across the region.

As the Senior Advisor (Corridor Management), you will be a trusted technical expert within the Project Planning and Corridor Management team, providing authoritative advice on corridor management legislation, policy and practices. You will undertake complex assessments, deliver specialist services and support sound, risk-based decision-making that contributes to Transport and Main Roads' strategic and operational objectives.

In this role, you will work closely with program and project managers, local governments, developers, utility providers, consultants and community stakeholders to ensure corridor management requirements are effectively integrated into planning, project delivery and third-party developments. Your ability to build productive relationships and achieve practical, customer-focused outcomes will be key to your success.

A significant focus of the role is providing expert advice on the application of the Transport Infrastructure Act and associated legislation. You will assess complex applications and proposals affecting the state-controlled road corridor and ensure decisions are evidence-based, consistent and compliant with legislative and policy requirements.

You will play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of Q TRIP projects by ensuring corridor management considerations are embedded throughout planning, design and delivery phases.

This includes providing specialist input into project reviews, approvals, assessments and planning activities that support safe, productive and sustainable transport outcomes.

The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex, high-risk and sensitive corridor management matters. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify solutions that balance network performance, safety, legislative obligations and community expectations. Beyond service delivery, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of corridor management practices across the district.

This includes developing and implementing processes, guidelines and business improvements that enhance consistency, efficiency and customer service outcomes. As a senior member of the team, you will also support capability development through mentoring, technical guidance and knowledge sharing. You will lead by example, fostering collaboration, professional growth and the delivery of high-quality technical outcomes.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys influencing outcomes, solving complex challenges and contributing to the delivery of critical transport infrastructure. If you are passionate about providing expert advice, building strong stakeholder relationships and helping shape the future of Queensland's transport network, we encourage you to apply.

Applications will remain current for 12 months.
