Role :Senior Automation Test Consultant – Python SME

Location : Sydney , Australia

Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python .
- Lead end-to-end test automation initiatives for web, API, and backend applications.
- Develop automated test scripts using PyTest , Robot Framework , or similar Python-based frameworks.
- Automate REST APIs using Python libraries (Requests, HTTPX, etc.).
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
- Mentor team members on Python coding standards and automation best practices.
- Review code, troubleshoot automation failures, and optimize framework performance.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts,



and product owners throughout the SDLC.
- Prepare automation reports, dashboards, and quality metrics.

Mandatory Skills

- 10+ years in Software Testing with 5+ years of Python automation experience.
- Robust expertise in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with PyTest , Robot Framework , or Behave .
- Experience in Selenium with Python or Playwright with Python .
- Strong API automation experience using Python.
- Good SQL skills for database validation.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
