Our valued client – Itero, based in Perth WA is seeking highly experienced MECHANICAL FITTERS to join their dedicated team of professionals. Itero is Australia’s leading expert in projects complicated by height and specialists in complex asset remediation and maintenance solutions operating across multiple sectors.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Mechanical Fitter is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality mechanical maintenance, shutdown, project and installation services for Itero Australia's clients across mining, industrial, commercial and infrastructure sectors. The role is based on client sites and supports Itero's commitment to Zero Harm, quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Key Responsibilities Carry out planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance

Install, overhaul and commission pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, crushers, valves, pipework and rotating equipment Complete precision alignment, bearing replacement and mechanical fault finding Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs; and OEM manuals

Assist with shutdowns, construction and capital projects Complete job documentation, maintenance reports and QA records Provide outstanding client service and represent Itero professionally

Maintain tools, vehicles and company equipment Assist Rope Access crews where required Travel to metropolitan,



regional and FIFO sites as required

Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Work in accordance with Itero Australia's Integrated Management System Comply with WHS legislation, client requirements and company procedures

Complete Take 5s, SWMS, JHAs, permits and isolations before commencing work Report hazards, incidents and near misses immediately

Participate in toolbox meetings and continuous improvement initiatives Promote Itero's Zero Harm culture Qualifications & Licences

Mandatory Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent) IRATA Rope Access Level 2/3

Working at Heights Confined Space Entry Gas Test Atmospheres

Current Australian Driver's Licence Construction White Card Ability to pass medical and drug & alcohol screening

Preferred High Risk Work Licence (Forklift, EWP, Rigging or Dogging)

First Aid National Police Clearance (where required by clients) Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience Experience within mining, industrial maintenance, oil & gas or manufacturing Strong knowledge of rotating equipment and mechanical systems

Competent with precision measuring equipment and laser alignment Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
