About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to join PattySmiths & Huxtaburger at our WA location. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of store operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth. As Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff performance, achieving sales targets, and maintaining the highest standards of service and product quality. This role is pivotal to the success of our store and plays a key part in delivering our brand promise to our customers.

Key responsibilities

1. Oversee all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and cash handling

2. Lead, recruit, train and motivate a team of retail staff to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve performance targets

3. Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews and development to ensure adequate coverage and team engagement

4. Drive sales performance and achievement of store targets through effective merchandising, promotional activities and customer engagement strategies

5. Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock takes and manage ordering to minimise waste and optimise availability

6. Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and safe store workplace

7. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, handling complaints professionally and ensuring satisfaction

8. Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

9. Manage store budget, control costs and maximise profitability

10. Represent the PattySmiths & Huxtaburger brand with integrity, upholding company values and culture

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in retail management, preferably within the food and beverage or quick-service restaurant sector

2. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff

3.



Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional experiences

4. Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, stock control and financial administration

5. Proficiency in using retail management systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology

6. Knowledge of health, safety and food hygiene standards relevant to food retail environments

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams

8. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges

9. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

10. Retail management qualifications or relevant certificates in food handling and workplace health and safety are advantageous
