About the Role

Gemelli Italian Broadbeach is currently looking for an experienced Section Waiter to join our growing family.

We're searching for someone who is confident managing their own section, passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality, and thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment. If you enjoy creating memorable guest experiences while working with a supportive and energetic team, we'd love to hear from you.

Duties

- Working closely with restaurant managers to ensure smooth daily operations.

- Confidently managing your own section and providing attentive, professional service.

- Delivering warm, knowledgeable and genuine hospitality to every guest.

- Providing informed food and wine recommendations.

- Handling guest requests and resolving issues professionally.

- Maintaining high presentation,



cleanliness and service standards.

- Working collaboratively with both front and back of house teams to deliver a seamless dining experience.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience as a Section Waiter or in a similar role is essential.

- Minimum 6 months' restaurant waiting experience.

- Strong food knowledge, with Italian cuisine highly regarded.

- Basic wine knowledge and confidence making beverage recommendations.

- Full working rights in Australia.

- A positive, qualified and calm attitude under pressure.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- High attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality.

- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
