The Eastlake Group comprises of Eastlake Football Club, Eastlake Calwell, Eastlake Gungahlin, Eastlake Events, Cornerstone Pub (Gungahlin) and the Eastlake Demons, whom proudly participate in the local AFL fixture.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part Time - Finance Officer (Accounts Payable). Reporting to the Group Financial Controller.

This role will be integral in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily maintenance of Accounts inbox and promptly responding to suppliers and staff enquiries

- Daily maintenance of Dext – moving invoices in inbox for approval, monitoring approvals, reviewing and publishing approved invoices to Xero

- Process creditor payments on a daily, weekly or monthly basis depending on due dates, nature of payment or Managers’ instructions

- Reconcile credit card transactions daily

- Undertake data entry tasks related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

- Coordinate the weekly update of community contribution schedule

- Complete month end reconciliations





We currently use DEXT (AP automation) and Xero as part of our financial software systems.

The ideal person

- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to relate to and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.

- High standard of presentation, organised, high level of accuracy and time management.

- Self-motivated with initiative, a team player and you have a positive and problem solving approach to you work.

Formal Qualifications/Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance setting

- Certificate IV – Financial Services (desirable)

- Intermediate computer and Excel skills

- The position is 25-28hrs per week
