About the Role:
As the Commissioning Technician, you’ll lead the testing, configuration, integration, and delivery of advanced electronic security systems across Defence, Government, and commercial projects. Acting as a senior technical escalation point, you’ll ensure systems are commissioned to the highest operational, client, and compliance standards while supporting project teams with technical expertise and problem-solving throughout the delivery process.

What You’ll Bring:

- Must be an Australian Citizen (NV1 Security Clearance eligibility required – Secom will support this)
- ACT Security Licence (or ability to obtain)
- 5+ years’ experience commissioning electronic security systems
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, and integrated platforms
- Experience with Gallagher, Genetec, Milestone, Inner Range, Lenel, Honeywell, Bosch, Avigilon, or similar
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Understanding of IP networking and integrated system environments
- Driver’s Licence and White Card
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Relevant qualifications in electronics, security, IT/networking, or related fields

Nice to Have:

- Vendor certifications across major security platforms
- Experience in Defence, government, or high-security environments
- (FAT) Factory acceptance testing and integrated systems experience
- ICT networking skills
- Experience mentoring technicians or leading commissioning activities on major projects
