What's the Role?

As our Recruitment and Resource Manager, you'll lead end-to-end recruitment across a range of Defence and government programs that Zilor Group supports. You'll work with the Business Operations team to understand workforce needs, role requirements, sourcing strategies, and manage the full recruitment lifecycle, while focusing on quality.

Day to day, this includes putting together job advertisements, shortlisting, and interviewing candidates in alignment with Zilor Group's values, and building and maintaining talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles. You'll conduct market mapping, proactively engage passive talent, and maintain accurate recruitment data and metrics. Staying current on recruitment trends, compliance requirements, and emerging technologies is part of the role too.





Who You Are

You’re a proactive, relationship-driven recruiter who thrives on matching great people to the right opportunities. You have proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within professional services, Defence, or government. You bring a passion for people and a genuine commitment to equitable hiring and diverse workplaces, along with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You're comfortable owning the full recruitment cycle in-house, end to end, and working independently.

What You'll Bring

● Recruitment Experience: A background in recruitment, talent acquisition, or resourcing, ideally within Defence, government, or professional services.

● Stakeholder Management: Confidence engaging candidates, internal delivery leads, and Defence clients with equal ease.

● Organisation & Accuracy: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple live requisitions and competing priorities.

● Tech Confidence: Comfortable using Microsoft 365 tools, applicant tracking systems, and recruitment platforms and market intelligence tools to inform sourcing decisions.

● Communication Skills: Explicit, professional written and verbal communication, with strong sourcing and negotiation instincts.

● Discretion: Confidential handling of candidate information throughout the recruitment process.
