The opportunity

As the Scheduling Manager, you'll lead a team of 12 Schedulers across four office locations. This newly created leadership role has been established as the department has expanded and now requires dedicated management, separate from Estimating, allowing you to focus purely on developing people, improving processes and driving operational excellence.

Your role
You'll be responsible for:
• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of 12 Schedulers across four office locations
• Driving consistency, performance and accountability across the scheduling function
• Reviewing and refining scheduling processes to improve efficiency and customer outcomes
• Collaborating closely with Estimating, Construction and Operations to ensure seamless project delivery
• Monitoring team workloads, KPIs and service standards
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing best practice
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and ongoing coaching of team members
• Quarterly day trips to each office to maintain strong relationships and team engagement

About you
You'll bring:
• Previous leadership experience within residential construction scheduling or a similar operational management role
• Strong knowledge of residential building processes from pre-construction through to site start
• Exceptional people leadership and coaching skills
• The ability to drive process improvement and operational efficiency
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
• Solid organisational skills with the ability to lead multiple priorities
• A collaborative leadership style with a genuine passion for developing high-performing teams
