Many of our team have been with us for five-ten years, reflecting the collaborative culture we've built together.The OpportunityWe're looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping the future of interiors at Trella.Working directly with Co-Director Nikki Butlin, you'll lead projects, mentor emerging designers and play an important role in the continued growth of interiors at Trella. This is an opportunity to help shape a growing interiors team within a studio that genuinely values integrated architecture and interiors.



You'll work across both dedicated interiors projects and integrated architecture projects where interiors are considered from the outset.This role will suit someone who enjoys taking ownership, building strong client relationships and creating thoughtful design outcomes that respond to real-world constraints as well as design ambition.You'll work on a diverse mix of projects including:Workplace and office fitoutsRetail and hospitality environmentsMixed-use and multi-residential developmentsRecreation, play-based environments and high education.Adaptive reuse and community-focused projects
What You'll Be DoingLead interior design projects from briefing through to deliveryDevelop concepts, presentations and design documentationManage client, consultant and stakeholder relationshipsMentor and support junior team membersContribute to FF&E; selection, specifications & joinery documentationPresent design solutions confidently to clientsCollaborate closely with architects on integrated projectsUndertake site visits and support project deliveryContribute to the ongoing development of the interiors teamWhat We're Looking ForDegree qualification in Interior Design or Interior ArchitectureApproximately 7+ years of qualified experienceExperience delivering projects within the Australian design and construction industryStrong design and project leadership capabilityExcellent communication and client management skillsStrong Adobe Creative Suite skillsExperience with FF&E; selection and documentationRevit experience,
