The Role

We are seeking an organised and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our Planning, Development and Delivery team.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, development and capital projects across Adelaide and Parafield Airports.

Working alongside Project Managers and key stakeholders, you will assist with project coordination, monitoring project budgets and schedules, stakeholder engagement, reporting and project administration activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging project management professional looking to develop their career while contributing to projects that support the future growth of Adelaide Airport.

Key Responsibilities





- Support the delivery of infrastructure, development and capital projects from planning through to completion

- Assist with managing project budgets, schedules and reporting requirements

- Coordinate project activities to ensure quality, timeframe and budget objectives are achieved

- Work closely with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to support successful project outcomes

- Maintain project documentation, records and reporting processes

- Assist with building approval and development processes where required

- Support the implementation of project management frameworks, systems and processes

- Monitor project progress and identify risks, issues and opportunities

- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Contribute to a strong customer-focused, collaborative and safety-conscious culture

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

- Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Business, Aviation or a related discipline

- Current Driver's Licence





- Approximately 2–3 years' experience in project management, construction, development or infrastructure environments

- Experience supporting project budgets, scheduling and coordination activities

- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

- Experience preparing reports and monitoring project performance

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels

- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving

Desirable

- Experience managing or coordinating multiple projects simultaneously

- Experience working in large operational or infrastructure environments

- Knowledge of airport, aviation or transport infrastructure operations

- Experience using project management systems, tools and methodologies
