We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead and coordinate our organisation’s operations.
The roleWe are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate holds a Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field.
The Operations Manager will lead company operations by monitoring and managing Arventa’s operations and supervising non-executive staff. The Operations Manager will report directly to the CEO as a member of the executive team.
As a result of our extensive growth, we are currently expanding our national team.
Key responsibilities of the position
Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective wayAchieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actionsExamine financial data and use them to improve profitabilityManage budgets and forecasts
Formulate strategic and operational objectivesReporting to management by summarising information and identifying trends
Monitor and improve operational management systems, processes and best practicesOverseeing the tracking and management of company compliance records and documents
Increase quality of operations Improvements to all facets of operationsEnsuring adherence of employees to company procedures
Recruit, train and supervise staff,
perform quality controls and monitor KPIsManaging staff performance management, including allocating responsibilities to staff members and monitoring their work progress and achievements by managing which projects go to which employees; providing feedback, evaluating the performance of employees and conducting disciplinary action as requiredManaging personnel hiring, including participating in the creation of job descriptions, advertising vacancies, screening resumes, and taking part of interviewsManage staff by monitoring attendance and leave in accordance with company processes
Applicants should haveLeadership abilityDegree in Business, Operations Management or related field (or higher)Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar roleKnowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations managementFamiliarity with business and financial principlesExperience in staff management and supervision (recruitment, performance management, operational discipline)Sound technical knowledge/skills (office management systems)Understanding of WHS processes (desirable)Experience in budgeting and forecastingExcellent communication skillsOutstanding organisational skillsHigh degree of self-motivation and ambitionPositive,
confident and determined approachDesire to work as a part of a winning team
