Employment Type: Permanent. Full time (38 hours/week) or part time (3 days, 60 hours/fortnight) both considered.

The Opportunity

Carejobz Recruitment is inviting experienced Scrub Scout nurses with an ophthalmic background to join a supportive theatre team in Canberra.

I have previously placed a Scrub Scout Nurse into this same team who emigrated to Australia, and they are loving the role, the support and the culture within the theatre team. Feedback has been consistently positive around leadership, collaboration and feeling genuinely welcomed.

Key Requirements

- Experienced ophthalmic Scrub Scout, comfortable with complex cases including trabeculectomies

- If you're a little rusty on complex surgery, you'll still be considered,



provided you have a solid ophthalmic base and recent theatre experience

- Cross-specialty experience is a bonus, particularly orthopaedics

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

- Must be eligible to work in Australia (no sponsorship available). Open to AU-based, interstate, or NZ citizen applicants relocating.

Theatre Equipment

Zeiss microscopes, Callisto and Quatera (no robotics).
