About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and technically strong Senior Accountant to join the highly regarded Butlers Anderson Accountants' team in their Coolangatta or Kingscliff office. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in providing a full range of accounting, tax and business advisory services to a diverse client base, predominantly comprising small to medium-sized enterprises across a variety of industries.

What you'll be doing

- Manage a portfolio of accounting and taxation clients, preparing financial statements, tax returns, and business activity statements

- Provide proactive business advisory services to clients, including strategic planning, cash flow management, and business performance improvement

- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction

- Contribute to the overall growth and development of the practice through new business acquisition and innovation

What we're looking for

- A professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) with 5+ years of experience in a public practice environment

- Excellent technical accounting and taxation skills, with a deep understanding of accounting standards and taxation legislation

- Strong client management and communication skills,



with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner

- Proven experience in supervising and developing junior accounting staff
