Position: Graphic Designer or UI DesignerLocation: Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne OR BrisbaneContract: 6+ Months and Extendable
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a robust portfolio showcasing a range of design works. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) andthe Microsoft Office suite (Word and PowerPoint). Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, colour theory, and layout. Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment (at times). Strong communication and collaboration skills. Hold a NV1 or higher Australian Government security clearance.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA Knowledge of user experience (UX)



design principles and best practices. Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma. Understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web development processes. Willingness to learn and develop user experience design skills.
QUALIFICATIONS/TRAITS A minimum of 4+ years of experience working at a digital agency as a Graphic Designer or UI Designer. Portfolio of key projects delivered in past years, calling out your role on the project, deliverablesresponsible and successes achieved. Excellent communication skills (both in conversation and in writing) and a portfolio which demonstratesthis ability in various phases of design.
 Ability to work gracefully and have a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment. Ability to drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements independently. Worked within collaborative, cross-functional teams to deliver multiple, successful projects. Ability to travel abroad.
