About Perth Festival

Perth Festival is your summer invitation to otherworldly experiences. Australia’s longest-running arts festival, celebrating over 70 years of world-class performance, music, film and visual arts on the shores of the Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River). Grounded on Noongar Boodjar and founded by The University of Western Australia, we champion First Nations traditions, commission major new works and connect Perth’s communities with the world’s finest artists every summer.

Every sold-out show, every standing ovation, every unforgettable night at Perth Festival begins with a ticket. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Ticketing Assistant to keep our ticketing operations running smoothly and ensure our key stakeholders have a seamless experience from purchase to performance.

Reporting to the Ticketing & Experience Manager, you will manage the end-to-end stakeholder ticketing function, including the setup and maintenance of allocations, holds and releases across Festival events. You’ll oversee the accurate processing and fulfilment of stakeholder ticket requests, ensure compliance with agreed processes, and work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless ticketing outcomes.

What You’ll Do

- Set up and maintain ticket allocations, holds and release schedules across Festival events and programs

- Ensure stakeholder ticketing processes are implemented accurately in line with approvals and policy

- Process stakeholder ticket requests, changes, exchanges and fulfilment in a timely and accurate manner

- Work with internal stakeholders across programming, marketing and partnerships to align processes and ensure successful Festival outcomes

- Act as the main contact for stakeholder ticketing enquiries via phone, email and in person

- Liaise with venues, box offices and ticketing providers to support smooth delivery and issue resolution

- Monitor ticket usage and release holds to optimise availability and sales outcomes

- Maintain accurate records, reporting and data integrity across all ticketing activity

- Support ticketing operations during peak Festival periods

Who You Are

- Experience in ticketing, audience services, administration or stakeholder coordination

- Strong understanding of ticketing systems and processes, including allocations and fulfilment

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities

- Experience working with internal stakeholders to align processes and deliver outcomes

- Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays during Festival periods

The Details

This is a fixed-term, full time Ticketing role with hybrid working. Experience with systems such as Tessitura, Ticketmaster or Ticketek is essential.
