As Maintenance Manager, you will lead the maintenance team to ensure manufacturing equipment and site assets are secure, reliable, and productive, supporting the timely delivery of quality products to Wattyl customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the performance, training, and development of the maintenance team to build capability and drive high performance
- Plan and allocate resources to meet site operational requirements while analysing performance data to drive continuous process improvements.
- Drive continuous maintenance improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.
- Control and optimise the R&M; budget to ensure cost-effective maintenance operations and asset reliability.
- Drive HSE performance across the site by ensuring timely resolution of equipment-related compliance issues and providing visible safety leadership.
Have You Got What We’re Looking For?
- Trade qualification as a Fitter or Electrician; an Engineering degree is advantageous
- Solid experience in supervising a small multi-disciplined maintenance team within a manufacturing environment.
- Great communication and stakeholder influence skills
- Ability to apply expertise in manufacturing automation and project management to improve equipment performance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement outcomes.
- Experience with CMMS software, preferably MEX
- Hold tickets in Confined Space and EWP preferred
