Established in 2014 from service divisions within the long-standing Metrowest Group, we provide reactive and preventative maintenance, installations, and complete commercial fit-out solutions across multiple trades, with particular strength in electrical and building services.

About the Role

We are growing our facilities maintenance team and are looking for a capable Building / Facilities Services Supervisor who enjoys leading people, solving problems and keeping jobs moving smoothly. This role would suit someone with strong technical knowledge, sound commercial experience and a practical, hands-on approach to supporting field-based teams.

Reporting to the Building Services Maintenance Manager, you will oversee field-based teams working across a variety of tasks, from general building maintenance through to commercial fit-outs, including demolition, framing, ceilings, partitioning, doors and finishing. You will play a key role in coordinating day-to-day priorities, monitoring progress, supporting scheduling and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

· Trade or construction management experience, with exposure to estimating or quoting

· A minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience, or experience running your own business, including scheduling or managing field staff

· Commercial experience within construction, maintenance, facilities management or trade services

· Unlimited work rights in Australia

· A valid driver’s licence

· Confidence using Microsoft Office

It would also be beneficial if you have:

· Strong organisational and communication skills

· Basic knowledge of NCC / BCA

· Exposure to project coordination

· Ability to manage multiple jobs and competing priorities

· Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills

· Sound understanding of construction and maintenance processes

· A proactive and solutions-focused approach
