About the Role

The Assets Crew plays an important role within the Assets Facilities team, providing hands-on support to maintain the presentation, functionality and day-to-day operation of the Claremont Showground. This role focuses on general maintenance, gardening, site presentation, and assisting with event set-up and pack-down to ensure the grounds are safe, functional and ready for a diverse range of events throughout the year.

About You

- Experience undertaking general maintenance, gardening or grounds maintenance activities.

- Willingness to assist with event set-up, pack-down and site preparation.

- Experience working safely and following Safe Work Procedures and Take 5 risk assessments.

- Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.

- Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.





- Current Manual C Class Driver's License.

- Current Forklift License

Desirable Skills

- Experience operating small plant and equipment used for grounds and maintenance activities.

- High Risk Work Licenses or tickets such as Telehandler or Elevated Work Platform (EWP).

- Experience working in a large, multi-use site, events venue, sporting precinct or similar setting.

- Basic carpentry, landscaping, or general handyman skills.
