We are looking to fill a full-time Senior Winemaker position at our Yenda Winery.The Senior Winemaker will be a passionate, hands-on, and driven individual with five to ten years of experience, preferably in large-scale wineries.
The ideal candidate will have:Tertiary or equivalent degree in Winemaking or OenologyDemonstrated winemaking ability over five to ten years, in diverse operations, specialising in large-scale wineriesDemonstrated success in winemaking and your own developed winemaking styleAbility to manage teams, including effective communication skills,
a team player with effective leadership and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work independently, managing your own workload and prioritiesShow evidence of excellent supervision, organising and planning skills including use of computer systemsDemonstrate positive presentation and communication skillsA practical understanding of running a large-scale winery on a profitable basis If successful, you will provide technical direction, strategic planning, develop junior winemaking staff and provide leadership and support to the winemaking team, with a focus on quality at all times. This is a long-term career opportunity to make your mark as a Senior Winemaker.
