Lead the Transformation of a Distribution Centre

Nolan is seeking an experienced and hands-on Distribution Centre Leader to play a key role in the next chapter of our warehouse operations.

This is more than a warehouse leadership role. We are currently undertaking a significant transformation of our distribution centre and are looking for a leader who can drive operational excellence, lift team capability, improve safety performance, and help shape the future of our warehouse operations. The role oversees daily warehouse activities while supporting the rebuild and continuous improvement of systems, processes, culture and performance.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading warehouse operations and building a high-performing team culture. You will oversee inventory management, service delivery, operational efficiency and safety while helping implement key improvements as part of the distribution centre's transformation journey.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading daily warehouse operations across receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.

- Driving process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.

- Building a strong culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

- Coaching, mentoring and developing warehouse team members.

- Improving inventory accuracy and warehouse performance metrics.

- Championing safety leadership and ensuring compliance with WHS requirements.

- Working closely with operational leaders to support the warehouse rebuild and future growth plans. (Suggested enhancement based on your transformation project.)

About You

You are a natural leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys improving systems, processes and people. You are comfortable balancing operational requirements while leading change initiatives and bringing teams on the journey.

You will ideally have:

- Experience leading warehouse, logistics or distribution operations.

- Previous leadership experience managing and developing teams.

- Strong operational, planning and problem-solving skills.

- Experience driving process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.

- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

- Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control.
