Occupational Therapist / Senior Occupational Therapist

Perth, WA | Full Time Preferred | Part Time from 0.6 FTE Considered

Build your career with a clinically focused team that genuinely supports quality practice.

An established Perth-based occupational therapy provider is seeking an Occupational Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist to join its growing adult services team.

This is a practice built by clinicians who continue to work on the frontline. Clinical quality, sustainable workloads and long-term career development sit at the centre of how the organisation operates. Rather than chasing rapid growth, the focus has always been on creating an environment where therapists can provide high-quality services while continuing to develop professionally.

If you're looking for a workplace that values strong clinical reasoning, structured support and meaningful professional development, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

You'll work primarily with adults living with complex disability, delivering evidence-based occupational therapy services across a varied caseload.

One of the key benefits of this position is the balance of work. While you'll build meaningful relationships with clients in the community, a significant portion of your week is dedicated to assessment writing, report preparation, planning, documentation and clinical collaboration rather than back-to-back appointments. This creates a more sustainable workload, gives you time to produce high-quality work, and provides genuine flexibility in how you manage your day.

Depending on your interests and experience, your work may include:

- Functional Capacity Assessments

- Assistive Technology assessments and prescription

- Complex Home Modifications

- Capacity Building and rehabilitation programs

- Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) assessments

- Independent Medical Examinations (experience not essential)

- Other complex adult occupational therapy services

You'll be supported by experienced clinicians, structured supervision, established systems and a collaborative team that values learning, mentoring and professional discussion.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for therapists who:

- Hold current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist

- Have experience working with adults in the disability sector (NDIS experience highly regarded)

- Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning and qualified judgement

- Are organised, reliable and able to manage their workload effectively

- Value teamwork, accountability and continuous career development

- Are open to feedback and enjoy collaborative clinical discussions

Applications are welcomed from both early career Occupational Therapists and experienced clinicians. Senior appointments will be considered based on experience and capability.

What You'll Receive

- Competitive salary with regular remuneration reviews and salary progression

- Structured clinical supervision and mentoring from experienced Occupational Therapists

- Meaningful professional development and ongoing learning opportunities

- Strong clinical governance and established practice systems

- Administrative support designed to reduce unnecessary workload

- A collaborative team environment with experienced clinicians who genuinely enjoy supporting one another

- Flexible work arrangements with a sustainable balance between client-facing work and clinical administration

- Long-term career progression within a stable and growing organisation

- Secure employment in a well-established adult-focused practice

About the Organisation

This is a specialist occupational therapy provider working exclusively with adults across Perth.

The organisation delivers services across disability, aged care, medico-legal and private sectors, supporting adults living with complex neurological and physical conditions, including acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and Huntington's disease.

Clinical leadership remains actively involved in service delivery, ensuring decisions are informed by real-world practice. The business has been intentionally built around quality clinical governance, sustainable growth and investing in its clinicians for the long term.

Employment Details

- Full Time preferred

- Part Time from 0.6 FTE (3 days per week) considered

Apply

If you're looking for a role where clinical excellence, genuine flexibility, professional support and long-term development are truly prioritised, we'd love to hear from you.
