MDM Mining and Civil is a proudly Indigenous-owned business delivering mining and civil services across the East Kimberley. As part of the Argyle Diamond Mine Closure Project, we are seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our team on an even-time 2:2 roster.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of Australia’s most significant mine rehabilitation projects, working within a high-performing team committed to safety, quality, and environmental excellence.

About the Role

We are looking for reliable and skilled Boilermakers who take pride in delivering quality work, can follow direction, and are equally capable of working independently or as part of a collaborative team.

Roster: Even time 2:2 Roster (Day Shift)

Travel Options: FIFO from Perth or Darwin, or DIDO from Kununurra, Halls Creek, or Wyndham

Key Requirements:

- Perform maintenance, repairs and fabrication of plant, equipment and work tools.

- Carry out welding, cutting, bending and assembly of steel and metal components.

- Inspect, repair and replace GET (Ground Engaging Tools), wear components and work tools.

- Rebuild work tools and complete repairs to maximise machine reliability.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and technical manuals.

- Operate hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery safely and effectively.





- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and routine maintenance of plant and equipment.

- Maintain accurate maintenance records, stock levels and report equipment faults.

- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.

- Comply with all workplace health, safety and environmental procedures while supporting team objectives.

About You:

- Trade qualified Boilermaker with experience in mining, heavy equipment or mobile plant maintenance.

- Skilled in welding, fabrication, repairs and rebuilding of wear components and work tools.

- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and fabrication plans.

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a commitment to quality workmanship.

- Safety-focused with a solid understanding of mine site procedures and safe work practices.

- Reliable team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.

- Holds a current C Class Driver's Licence and can pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening.

- Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workshop environment.
