At ANT Trade Services, we're committed to delivering excellence in every project we undertake. We're seeking an experienced and motivated Carpentry Supervisor to join our growing Adelaide team. If you're a qualified carpenter with strong leadership skills and a passion for quality workmanship, this is an excellent prospect to lead carpentry crews while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day carpentry activities across multiple residential and commercial construction projects.
- Lead, mentor and support carpenters, apprentices and labourers, promoting a positive, productive and safety-focused work environment.
- Ensure all carpentry work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, Australian Standards and company quality expectations.
- Plan daily work schedules, allocate resources and coordinate materials, tools and equipment to maximise productivity.
- Inspect completed work to ensure high standards of workmanship and promptly rectify any quality issues.
- Work closely with Project Managers, clients and other trades to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement practical solutions to minimise delays.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, safety documentation and quality inspections.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) legislation, company policies and safe work procedures at all times.
- Assist with estimating, material take-offs and procurement planning where required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience leading carpentry teams within residential, commercial or insurance restoration projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, Australian Standards and WHS requirements.
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and productivity.
- Current White Card and a valid driver's licence.
