Get Chunky is home to Perth's famous New York-style cookies, with 7 stores across Perth and a Commercial Kitchen in Malaga.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for enthusiastic, reliable Kitchen & FOH All-Rounders to join our team. This is a varied role where you'll work across our Commercial Kitchen and retail stores, helping create, bake and serve the products our customers love.
No two days are the same—you could be baking cookies in the morning and serving customers in one of our stores later that week.
Position Details
- Position: Casual Kitchen & FOH All-Rounder
- Hours: 15–25 hours per week
- Locations: Commercial Kitchen (Malaga) and any of our Perth stores
- Commencement: ASAP
Availability
We're looking for team members who are available Monday–Saturday
Early morning starts may be required, including occasional 4:00am or 5:00am starts for baking shifts
Our Commercial Kitchen hours are 9:30am-5:30pm Monday-Saturday
For the FOH Role – store opening hours vary and range of hours can be provided once location is confirmed
About the Role
As a Kitchen & FOH All-Rounder you'll play an important role across every part of the business.
Kitchen & Bakery Responsibilities
- Baking cookies following company procedures and recipes
- Weighing and measuring ingredients
- Preparing ingredients and baked goods
- Operating, emptying and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe workspace
- Cleaning and restocking workstations
- Putting away deliveries and rotating stock
- Assisting with light warehouse organisation
- Assisting with packing products and occasional deliveries when required
- Following all food safety,
hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Using Excel to accurately record production data and complete kitchen tracking
Front of House Responsibilities
- Providing friendly, efficient customer service
- Making and serving coffee, milkshakes and drinks
- Scooping and serving ice cream
- Packing and serving cookies and desserts
- Maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment
- Working collaboratively with the team during busy service periods
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness with the ability to lift up to 25kg
- Comfortable with early morning starts
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing consistent, high-quality products
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills (essential)
- Previous hospitality, kitchen, bakery or barista experience is advantageous but not essential—we provide full training.
