MOO Premium Foods is a proudly South Australian dairy manufacturer supplying premium yoghurt to major retailers and food service customers across the country. Our Glynde production floor runs to exacting food safety standards — and the Industrial Cleaner is one of the most important roles on it.

This is a full-time, permanent night-shift position. You'll own the cleanliness of our production floor — executing cleaning schedules, operating industrial cleaning equipment, assembling and disassembling machines/equipment including hoses for deep cleaning, running CIP cycles, handling chemicals safely and keeping our food safety documentation tight. It's physical, hands-on work that directly protects the quality of every product we make.

We're looking for experienced Industrial Cleaner — preferably from food manufacturing, meatworks, bakery, beverage, pharmaceutical or similar regulated environments. If you don't have food manufacturing experience but you're a skilled, physically capable Industrial Cleaner who takes pride in doing the job properly, we're open to training the right person.

What the role involves

Day-to-day cleaning

• Execute daily, weekly and periodic cleaning schedules across the production floor

• Clean and sanitise all food contact surfaces, equipment, floors, walls and drains

• Operate pressure washers and other cleaning machinery or equipment

• Keep storage areas clean, secure and organised at all times

• Complete cleaning records and shift documentation accurately

• Maintain cleaning consumables and report stock levels

Equipment and CIP

• Assemble and disassemble machines/equipment, pipes and hoses for thorough cleaning.

• Identify and notify supervisor, of machines/equipment parts that are unserviceable.

• Execute CIP (Clean-in-Place)

• Follow CIP cycle stages — pre-rinse, wash, rinse, sanitise — to protocol

• Verify and document CIP completion after each cycle

• Handle, dilute and store industrial cleaning chemicals safely per MSDS

• Wear correct PPE at all times — gloves, goggles, apron, non-slip footwear

Who we are looking for

• Demonstrated experience in industrial cleaning within a food manufacturing or similarly regulated environment.

• Demonstrated experience in dis-assembling and re-assembling industrial machines and equipment.

• Experience with CIP procedures and chemical handling in a dairy or food processing setting.

• Sound understanding of HACCP, GMP and WH&S; principles.

• Reliability, punctuality, commitment to the role, independently and safely complete tasks.

• B2 English proficiency — able to read procedures, complete documentation and communicate with team.

• Physically fit and able to sustain physical activity, lifting up to 25kg, throughout a full night shift.

• Right to work in Australia.
