Our client, Fresh Crop Pty Ltd is looking for a skilled Retail Manager to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Plan, organise and oversee the daily operations of the fresh produce store to ensure efficient and profitable business performance.
•Supervise, train and support retail staff, including preparing rosters, allocating duties and monitoring employee performance.
•Ensure the store is fully stocked with a wide range of fresh fruit, vegetables and related grocery products while maintaining high presentation standards.
•Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock ordering and implement effective stock rotation procedures to minimise waste and maintain product freshness.
•Deliver excellent customer service by handling customer enquiries, resolving complaints and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
•Monitor daily sales, cash handling, banking procedures and financial reports to achieve business objectives.
•Develop and implement promotional campaigns, pricing strategies and seasonal displays to increase sales and customer engagement.
•Liaise with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of fresh produce and other retail merchandise.




•Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety regulations and company policies.
•Analyse sales trends, customer demand and operational performance, implementing strategies to maximise profitability.
•Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness and visual merchandising to create an attractive shopping environment.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and the local community to support continued business growth.
Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum Certificate IV qualification or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• At least one year of recent Experience working as a Retail Manager.
• Ability to lead, motivate and supervise a team.
• Valuable verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to drive sales, achieve targets, and implement sales strategies.
• Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with staff, customers, suppliers, and management.
• Strong visual merchandising skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise responsibilities, and maintain a well-organised retail environment.
