About the role

Bring your passion for economics, finance, and accounting into the classroom! We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable professionals to inspire the next generation of business, finance, and accounting professionals. In this role, you'll deliver high‑quality, industry‑aligned teaching, combining contemporary economic theory, financial principles, accounting practices, and evidence‑based decision‑making with engaging approaches that support student success. This teaching chance is in higher education, teaching in our Bachelor of Business program (AQF 7).

Responsibilities

- Deliver high‑quality, industry‑aligned teaching in the Bachelor of Business program.
- Design and deliver content in microeconomics, macroeconomics, financial management, investment analysis, financial markets, management and financial accounting, budgeting, business performance analysis, and strategic decision‑making.




- Use professional experience and subject expertise to create inclusive, supportive learning environments that foster critical thinking, analytical problem‑solving, quantitative reasoning, ethical practice, collaboration, and lifelong learning.
- Maintain professional knowledge, industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.

Qualifications

- Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and hold a minimum AQF 8 qualification (Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Masters in a related field or higher).
- Have at least three years post‑qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- Be prepared to develop and maintain your knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
