Following the success of our flagship restaurant, we're opening Grandalfs Express at Elizabeth City Centre and are looking for an experienced Sous Chef / Senior Cook to help lead the kitchen from day one.

This isn't just another kitchen job. You'll play a key role in establishing a brand-recent store, building systems, training staff and delivering fast, high-quality food every service.

About the Role

- Leading the kitchen during service
- Preparing and cooking food to Grandalfs' standards
- Maintaining speed, consistency and presentation
- Training and mentoring kitchen team members
- Managing food safety, cleanliness and organisation
- Assisting with stock control and ordering
- Helping drive a positive and professional kitchen culture
- Maintaining high standards during busy lunch and dinner periods

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Senior Cook or experienced line cook
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Pride in producing consistent, quality food




- Understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
- Reliability, initiative and a strong work ethic
- Experience in burgers, quick-service restaurants or high-volume kitchens will be highly regarded but isn't essential.
