Position Details

We’re seeking a reliable and enthusiastic skilled Labourer to join our Palm Lake Construction team at Forster Lakes as we start work on our new Forster Aged Care development site . You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople to support the building and development of our premium lifestyle homes and community facilities. This is a Full‑time Fixed Term (2 years) position working 38 hours per week, between 6:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Your contribution will help ensure each resort and home we build meets the high standards Palm Lake Group is known for.

Responsibilities

- Assisting tradespeople and site supervisors with general construction duties;
- Performing site clean‑up, material handling, and general labour tasks;
- Loading and unloading building materials safely and efficiently;
- Operating basic tools and equipment under supervision;




- Maintaining a clean, organised, and hazard‑free worksite;
- Following safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents promptly;
- Supporting construction and display home preparation as required;
- Other duties as directed by site supervisors or project managers;

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring

- A White Card (Construction Induction) – essential
- A current driver's licence & reliable transport – essential
- Licensed and experienced in operating a telehandler / manitou – essential
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to quality outcomes.
- Experience in construction or labouring (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
