What’s the opportunity ?

The Senior Data Analyst owns the analysis of large and complex data sets. They rely on deep knowledge of the company’s data models and products and proficiency with big data platforms. Senior Analysts provide insight - not just data - to their technical peers, product managers and engineering leaders. They own the privacy, security, quality and content of the data products they create and manage on the data platform.

Here’s how you’ll do it:

Product Alignment: The Senior Data Analyst translates product objectives into actionable data analysis, collaborating closely with engineers and senior stakeholders to ensure that data insights drive successful project outcomes and high quality products.



They understand the broader business context to help set data-driven roadmaps that advance the company’s prospects through clear communication and influential storytelling.

Data Product Ownership: Responsible for the end-to-end analysis of large and complex data sets, the Senior Data Analyst delivers reliable, high-quality insights and data products. They leverage deep knowledge of company products, data models and data platforms - applying rigorous quality tests and utilising automation platforms to ensure the resilience and accuracy of all analytical outputs.

Analytical Excellence and Mentorship: As a domain expert, the Senior Data Analyst sets the standards for data quality and analytical rigor across the organisation. They influence teams to improve data practices and use mentorship to grow data literacy and technical capabilities, imparting industry knowledge to help peers and stakeholders make more informed, data-driven decisions.

- Advanced data analysis and insight generation from large, complex data sets.
- Proficiency with big data platforms and deep knowledge of query execution and costs, data models and reporting packages.
- Ability to translate product objectives and business context into actionable data analysis and strategic, data-driven roadmaps.
- Solid technical skills to build, deploy, and maintain data products, utilising our automation platforms..
- Analytical leadership,



including setting standards for data quality and rigor across the organization.
- Exceptional communication and influential storytelling abilities to present insights to senior stakeholders, peers, and product managers.
