Senior NatHERS Energy Consultant - Hero Software

Location: Melbourne preferred (Sydney or Brisbane will also be considered)

Salary: $90k - $120k + super + commission

Hero Software has exclusively partnered with Scoutr to recruit a Senior NatHERS Energy Consultant.

We're looking for an experienced accredited NatHERS assessor who wants to use their technical expertise and industry relationships in an advisory role. Rather than spending every day completing assessments, you'll work directly with assessors and businesses across Australia, helping them understand the benefits of Hero Software and supporting the adoption of a modern assessment platform. You'll build relationships across the industry, share your knowledge and become a trusted point of contact for both existing and prospective Hero users.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to move into a role where you'll work with assessors, builders and businesses across Australia to help grow Hero's presence within the NatHERS industry.

You'll become a trusted advisor to both existing and prospective Hero users, working closely with the team to build relationships, demonstrate the platform and support new customers throughout their onboarding journey.

Your responsibilities will include:





- Building relationships with energy assessors, ESD and building companies across Australia.
- Demonstrating and advocating for the Hero platform to prospective customers and partners.
- Supporting assessors and businesses transitioning to Hero.
- Working closely with the Customer Success team to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
- Representing Hero at industry events, conferences and training sessions.
- Providing market feedback to support future product development.
- Building long-term relationships that strengthen Hero's position within the NatHERS industry.

About You We're looking for someone who brings credibility within the industry and enjoys working with people.

Must haves:

- Accreditation as a NatHERS assessor (ideally Hero software accredited).
- Experience using Hero Software, FirstRate5 or, ideally both platforms.
- Strong relationships within the NatHERS industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to explain technical concepts in a practical and easy-to-understand way.
- A genuine interest in helping assessors improve the way they work.
