About the Role
Perched above Brisbane's CBD in a heritage-listed Neo-Georgian building, The Inchcolm is a Brisbane landmark with a bar to match - all herringbone oak timber, wrap-around windows and a granite fireplace, built for guests nursing a nightcap in style.
We're looking for an experienced Bartender to bring vintage flair and craft to The Inchcolm Bar, with a passion for shaking cocktails and delivering service with personality a must. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a boutique, character-filled setting and takes pride in their mixology skills, product knowledge, and ability to engage with a diverse clientele.
Skills & Experience
- 1 - 2 years of experience working in a similar restaurant, hotel or bar environment.
- Experience making cocktails with a good knowledge of all things beverage related from the classics to more complex and sophisticated.
- Personable, enjoy working in a busy environment and engaging with guests.
- Good communication, a team player and attention to detail.
- Adaptable and the ability to multi-task and anticipate the guests' needs.
- Enjoy working in a hotel environment and have flexibility to support different outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain personal grooming and uphold a clean, safe, and well-stocked work environment in line with hotel standards.
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service while adhering to all operational, safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and comply with all preparation and dispensing standards.
- Complete all opening, closing, and cashiering duties accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in all required training sessions to continuously improve service and product knowledge.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and assist other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
