Job Purpose
The VP of Professional Services will lead the delivery, operations, and growth of LWB360 services,
with a strategic focus on expanding the business in Australia. This senior role combines project oversight, operational leadership and team development.
While ensuring a consistent methodology across all projects and alignment with the LWB360 product strategy. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Client Solutions for the management and deliverables of the LWB360 group while driving business growth in the Australian market.
Responsibilities:
10+ Years in a software delivery role within the legal, government policy or public administration space, with specific responsibility for client delivery while also setting and directing product direction.
Experience of legislative software and the legislative process in Westminster and US jurisdictions, including the following, but not limited to it:
- Structure of legislation.
- Form of and rules around amendatory instructions.
- Managing Codifications, Compilations and Consolidations.
- Ensure LWB360 projects are delivered on schedule by reviewing estimates, project schedules, and sprint plans with Project and Portfolio Managers.
- Oversee estimation for sales opportunities to ensure realistic timelines.
- Identify delivery risks and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule adherence.
Operations & Resourcing:
- Collaborate with Project and Portfolio Managers on resource allocation, forecasts, and capacity planning.
- Build and manage a department that accommodates a mix of skills,
from graduates to senior professionals.
- Identify knowledge and skills gaps and implement development plans to upskill the team.
- Define delivery process direction with the Director of Client Solutions and the Head of Technology and LWB360 Standardisation.
- Manage performance, career development, and onboarding of team members.
- Foster an environment where team members take ownership of their development and are engaged in meaningful growth opportunities.
- Standardisation of Delivery Processes:
- Implement processes to ensure software reuse, testing compliance, and alignment with LWB360 delivery standards.
- Focus on delivery excellence, client satisfaction, and continuous service improvement.
- Strategy & Business Expansion in Australia:
- Actively contribute to senior management in defining strategic direction.
- Develop and execute plans to expand LWB360’s qualified services footprint in Australia.
- Identify growth opportunities, establish client and partner relationships, and position LWB360 competitively in the Australian market.
- Balance local team needs with organisational priorities to ensure alignment across functions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- · Proven experience in professional services delivery and operations for enterprise software.
- · Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- · Track record of productising a wide-ranging catalogue of bespoke solutions to solve recurring and new problems.
- · Excellent strategic thinking, client relationship management, and communication skills.
- · Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects while delivering on time and on budget.
- · Ability to manage dispersed, multi-time zone teams.
