We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Support Worker to join our team, providing 5-hours care for a female client with specific needs.

She Lives With

Chronic fatigueFibromyalgiaBorderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients with similar needs and demonstrate patience, understanding, and emotional resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 5-hour care per week, mobility assistance.Support daily living activity’s.Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the participants quality of life.Ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment tailored to the participants unique needs.

Essential Requirements

Experience: Minimum 12-18 months of experience as a support worker (at least 1 year).Certificate III (CHC33021) or IV in Individual Support (CHC43115) or above.NDIS Worker Screen documentFirst Aid Certificate

Language Skills





Proficiency in English (written and verbal).Legal Work Rights: Must have the legal right to work in Australia.Background ChecksNational Police CheckNDIS Worker Screening CheckWorking With Children (WWC) Check

Qualifications

Medication management/administration certificate.Training in hoisting and lifting clients.License & Driving History: Valid Driver’s Licence with the ability to provide driving history upon request.

Desired Skills & Attributes

Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.Solid communication and interpersonal skills.Able to handle long shifts (10-12 hours) and overnight stays.Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.Understanding of chronic illnesses and mental health conditions.Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
