Carey Industrial Pty Ltd (a part of Whale (Aust) Holdings Pty Ltd/ Firmus Group) is currently looking to recruit experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanics to join their teams throughout QLD, NSW, SA and VIC. Successful candidates will need to undertake and possess:
- Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and Hydraulic systems on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
- Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
- Undertake inspections, assessments and maintenance on Vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
Skills & Abilities:
- Ideally have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic
- A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology /Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant
- Ability to work in a team setting
