This position is 12-month full time contract, based within the CBD. Hours will be Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.

You’ll play a key role in:
As a Construction Worker, you’ll support the day-to-day running of site activities under the direction of our Site Manager or Site Foreman. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, keeps things moving and takes pride in maintaining a safe, organised and well-presented site.

- Assist with managing deliveries in the loading dock
- Carry out general labouring, manual handling and site cleaning tasks
- Support site set-up, protection of surfaces and upkeep of amenities
- Operate the lift during peak times to help move workers efficiently
- Maintain order across storeroom and basement storage areas, including stocktake
- Complete site-related tasks safely and in line with direction from the Site Manager or Site Foreman

What you’ll bring:

You’ll bring practical building industry experience and a strong work ethic,



ideally from a fitout or refurbishment setting. You’re someone who works well in a busy site setting, follows direction, uses initiative when needed and takes safety seriously. You’ll also bring a positive attitude and a team-focused approach that fits well with how we work at SHAPE.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging site environment
- Understanding of safe site practices, daily pre-starts and hazard awareness
- Experience completing general construction activities to a high standard
- Forklift licence is desirable
- Positive attitude with respect for others and a collaborative approach
- Pride in presentation and maintaining an organised site
