MDM Crushing and Screening Pty Ltd is a proudly Aboriginal owned business delivering specialised crushing and screening contracting services across diverse regions and remote environments. We operate a state-of-the-art new Metso Mobile crushers and screen complete with WIFI remote control and rockbreaker. This allows us to work smarter, faster, and more efficiently for our clients.
MDM is growing with new contracts coming online and we are looking for an experienced project manager to come on the journey with us. Together with strong leadership and project management experience we are looking for someone who can set direction and deliver on-time results. Ideally, the role is based in Kununurra, East Kimberley on 2:2 roster with DIDO to site however FIFO will be provided for the right candidate keen to take on this exciting and critical role.
The Role:
· Demonstrate strong and visible management skills through effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Manage projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
· Track project performance, financials, and productivity, and plan rectifications if needed.
· Ensure compliance with safe work practices, policies, and procedures across teams.
· Strong adherence to environmental and quality requirements.
· Conduct client and internal reporting.
· Formulate, review,
and monitor work programs for each section of work to be completed.
· Provide effective communication, information flows, procedures, and records necessary to facilitate the delivery of contract and quality requirements.
· Engage in forward planning to meet contractual requirements and business targets.
· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to meet overall business objectives.
· Aim for continuous improvement in operational practices and resource utilisation.
· Mentor and coach Supervisors and other direct reports.
· Oversee the silica management process on the projects.
About You:
· 7+ years in office experience delivering projects (crushing and screening)
· Proven leadership experience including coaching and mentoring indigenous employees.
· Experience with Metso mobile crushers and screens
· Ability to work under pressure with the ability to prioritise workload accordingly.
· Demonstrated ability to involve others in the decision-making process when making plans that will affect them.
· Experience working in very remote locations

· Hold Senior Site Executive and Quarry Manager tickets
· White Card
· First aid / CPR
· 4 x 4 driving experience
· MR / HR Truck License
