Synergie Australia is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver for one of our major clients located in Cairns.

The important parts:

Day shift – Monday to Friday (6am - 2.30pm). Possibility for overtime. Temporary with view to permanency Immediate start available Paying above award rates - Cairns location

What you will be required to do:

Safely operate forklifts to transport large, heavy and oversized loads Load and unload trucks, containers and freight in accordance with site procedures Move products and materials efficiently throughout the yard Carry out pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks Ensure loads are secured and handled safely to prevent damage Work closely with teams from different departments to meet daily production targets Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all WHS policies and procedures

To be successful in the role you will:

Hold a current High Risk Forklift Licence (LF) – essential Have extensive forklift operating experience in industrial,



warehouse or transport environments Be confident transporting large, heavy or awkward loads safely and efficiently Demonstrate excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety Be reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team Have a positive attitude with a strong work ethic
