Are you an experienced hands on Warehouse Manager with the desire to take ownership and be part of something special? If so, you may be the person that we are looking for to help us manage our warehouse, drive excellent service delivery to our existing distribution customer base and help build new business throughout WA.

Reporting directly to the Manager - Operations, you will be integral in expertly managing all aspects of storage, pick and pack, receivals of containers, and dispatch. You will work closely with the WA sales team in delivering excellent service to our customers . You will be responsible for creating and implementing systems and processes and managing staff. By doing this you will drive best practice and continuous improvement to maximise efficiencies and maintain operational performance and workplace safety.

We are seeking a driven, practical 'hands-on' person with a 'can-do' attitude who can manage multiple concurrent responsibilities. This is a very busy role and you need to be able to multitask, roll up your sleeves and lead the team by example. This is not an office based role, its hands on and busy.

Ultimately, success in the role will be demonstrated by your ability to expertly manage the warehouse in an efficient, secure and controlled manner whilst delivering a high level of customer service within the distribution network in the WA marketplace.

The key responsibilities of the role will be as follows:

- Manage and deliver all daily warehouse operations

- Operate and maintain warehouse machinery

- Pick & Pack orders

- Stringent Inventory control

- Implement, manage and refine systems and processes within the warehouse

- Minimise damages and dispatch errors through high levels of quality control

- Co-ordinate, train and manage warehouse staff

- Provide regular reporting to head office

- Create and manage a safe working environment for all team members

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

- A track record of warehouse management success in a relevant environment

- Exceptional organisation and communication skills

- Good problem-solving capability

- Solid and current experience in forklift operation and current Forklift licence

- Fast learner, and flexible and adaptable with a hands-on mindset
