About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Lindisfarne Medical Group as a casual Medical Receptionist. Working from our office in Mount Lawley, WA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our medical practice. With a focus on providing exceptional customer service, this role will see you managing patient enquiries, scheduling appointments, and handling administrative tasks to support our team of healthcare professionals.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice with a friendly and professional manner

- Scheduling and managing patient appointments, including follow-ups and appointment reminders

- Handling patient enquiries, both in person and over the phone, and directing them to the appropriate healthcare provider

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical documentation

- Assisting with the processing of payments and Medicare claims

- Providing general administrative support to the practice as required

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a medical reception or administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively





- Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems

- A friendly, patient, and professional demeanour

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records

- Experience with Best Practice, Pracsoft or Medical Director
