Application Support Analyst

Our Technology team are at the heart of the organisation ensuring our people stay connected, have access to critical systems and platforms and keep services running smoothly. We are now expanding our Technology team and have an opportunity for an Application Support Analyst to join the team. Your Role in Our FutureIn this role, you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of business-critical applications, ensuring that systems are operational and performant enabling the successful delivery of early phase clinical trials. Working across our Nedlands and Joondalup locations, you will maintain a strong relationship with users and application owners, monitor systems, and perform minor remediations to existing solutions to ensure availability and stability. You will ensure that risk-informed cybersecurity controls are implemented and maintained for these applications.

Some of your duties will include;
- Be the applications subject matter expert, providing technical assistance, escalation and resolving all issues related to all our SaaS products and Microsoft 365 software applications.
- Maintain, diagnose and resolve performance, functionality, or data processing problems within applications.
- Define and perform regular maintenance tasks, manage application updates, and monitor system performance.
- Provide appropriate training to diverse stakeholders on the use of critical systems.
- Participate in the evaluation and integration of new systems, collaborating with technical teams and business.

This role will be offered on a full-time basis based in Nedlands with work also required from our Joondalup site.

Your Experience
The successful applicant for this role will be able to demonstrate the following;




- Tertiary Qualification in ICT, Business Information Systems, Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
- In-depth expert knowledge and troubleshooting experience of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 Apps.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with users, stakeholders, and technical teams at all levels.
- Ability to independently, diagnose root causes of diverse application errors and develop effective solutions for complex issues.
- Understanding of Integration and workflow tools, such as Zapier and Power Automate.
