About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Support Officer with a strong technical mindset to support logistics, asset management, and operational activities within a secure and fast-paced setting.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on warehouse operations with technology, asset tracking, inventory management, and process improvement. You will play a critical role in ensuring equipment, assets, and materials are accurately managed, securely stored, and delivered in support of operational outcomes.
Due to the nature of the environment, the successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to comply with security requirements and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming equipment, assets, and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset records across multiple systems.
- Prepare, package, and dispatch equipment to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support asset lifecycle activities, including deployment, relocation, recovery, and disposal.
- Conduct stocktakes and inventory audits.
- Update asset databases and maintain supporting documentation.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate logistics activities and liaise with internal customers and vendors.
- Ensure warehouse areas are maintained in a clean, organised, and secure manner.
- Assist with equipment staging, configuration, and basic technical checks where required.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency, and asset visibility.
- Comply with all workplace health, safety,
and security requirements.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory, or asset management environments.
- Strong computer literacy and confidence using databases and business systems.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and work independently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
Highly Desirable
- Experience supporting ICT, technical, or operational equipment.
- Understanding of asset management principles.
- Experience with ERP, inventory, ticketing, or asset-tracking systems.
- Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience working in secure, government, defence, or critical infrastructure environments.
