The Opportunity and Role:

Do you have a passion for vehicles and the ability to find quality spare parts while balancing this with a high customer service approach? Have you wondered about joining an essential services industry and have previous automotive spare parts experience? Then please read on…A permanent, full-time position is on offer for an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter who is enthusiastic and with a ‘can do’ attitude to support the daily operations of the Stores and Spare Parts Division and liaise with other teams as required.

The role will report to the Spare Parts Manager and will be responsible for:

- The daily maintenance of the Spare Parts Stores including layout, cleanliness; and general maintenance

- Customer service including, interpreting customer needs, identify the correct spare parts processing of orders, counter sales, preparation of quotes and responding to enquires; and

- Attend to Inventory Control Procedures (as required) including:

- Goods costing and pricing

- Process and authorising orders and returns

- Accounting for inventory related transactions within the computerised system, including receipts, returns and adjustments

- Stock-take

- Ensuring Work Health & Safety practices.
