About Blue Tree Project
Blue Tree Project is a mental health charity dedicated to sparking important conversations and breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health. Through our blue trees, community activations, regional events, education, partnerships and awareness campaigns, we create meaningful opportunities for people to check in, speak up and feel less alone. As our organisation continues to grow, we are looking for a creative, organised and purpose-driven Marketing Coordinator to support our events, partnerships and campaign delivery.
About the Role
The Marketing Coordinator’s primary focus is supporting the delivery of marketing collateral and assets for events, activations, fundraisers, regional tours and partnerships, while also providing broader day-to-day marketing support across Blue Tree Project as required. This role is ideal for an emerging marketer who enjoys a mix of creative work, coordination, writing, design support and hands-on delivery. You will support the Marketing Manager by creating marketing collateral, coordinating partner marketing deliverables, assisting with campaign assets and helping ensure our brand is represented consistently across community, corporate and fundraising activities. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager, Events Manager, Social Media Coordinator and wider Blue Tree Project team to deliver high-quality marketing outputs that support our mission. The role is based full-time at The Tree House in West Perth, with some occasional evening and weekend work required.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and coordinate marketing collateral from brief through to delivery for events, activations, fundraisers, regional tours, partnerships and campaigns.
- Design and produce marketing assets including flyers, posters, signage, programs, invitations, event templates and digital assets.
- Support the delivery of partner and sponsor marketing commitments, including logo placement, recognition assets, social media tiles, email inclusions, paid social assets and event signage.
- Assist with campaign materials across fundraising, awareness, training, merchandise and community initiatives, including assets for paid social media campaigns.
- Create and coordinate newsletters, email campaigns and fundraising communications, including content collation, copywriting, campaign setup and distribution.
- Write and edit marketing copy for event promotions and registrations, flyers, emails, partner content, website updates, campaign resources and other marketing materials.
- Maintain and update website content, including event pages, campaign pages and organisational updates, and provide support with WordPress administration such as forms, plugins and minor backend maintenance, under direction of the Marketing Manager who leads website strategy and development.
- Ensure all marketing materials align with Blue Tree Project’s brand guidelines, templates, tone of voice and visual identity to ensure consistency, clarity and quality.
- Maintain marketing files, templates, image libraries and campaign folders.
- Liaise with printers, suppliers, partners and internal team members to coordinate marketing requests, production, timelines and delivery of marketing materials.
- Support events and activations as required, including occasional evening and weekend work.
- Assist with collecting basic campaign and event data such as attendance, engagement and fundraising outcomes to support reporting.
About You
You are a creative and organised marketer who is ready to grow your skills in a meaningful, purpose-driven organisation. You enjoy creating polished materials, keeping projects moving and bringing ideas to life.
You are comfortable juggling multiple deadlines, working across different teams and producing work that reflects care, accuracy and attention to detail. You do not need to be the most experienced person in the room, but you do need to be proactive, thoughtful, willing to learn and passionate about making a difference.
Skills & Experience
- 1–2 years’ experience in marketing, communications, events, design, fundraising, partnerships or a related role.
- Solid written communication skills and good attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and competing priorities.
- Confidence working with templates, brand guidelines and digital assets.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools would be highly regarded.
- Experience with email marketing platforms, social media scheduling tools, website updates or print coordination would be beneficial.
- An understanding of not-for-profit, events, fundraising, mental health, community engagement or partnerships would be beneficial.
- Willingness to occasionally work outside standard business hours to support events and activations.
- A genuine alignment with Blue Tree Project’s mission and values.
What We Offer
- A meaningful role within a growing mental health charity with a passionate team environment that create real community impact.
- Room to learn, grow and develop your marketing skills.
- A varied role across events, partnerships, campaigns, design and content.
- Full-time role based at The Tree House in West Perth.
- Nine-day fortnight.
- 5 weeks Annual Leave
- Employee Assistance Program session access.
- Salary of $70,000 + superannuation.
