Supashock designs and manufactures world-class suspension systems and advanced mobility solutions for the defence, automotive and autonomous sectors. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Trade Assistant to join our Manufacturing team at our Holden Hill facility.

About the Role
Working within our Machine Shop and Manufacturing team, you'll support the production of precision components, finishing, material handling and general manufacturing activities. You'll work alongside experienced machinists and tradespeople to ensure components meet our high-quality standards and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Deburr and finish machined components to engineering and quality specifications.
- Operate cylindrical grinding machines and cutting equipment, including hacksaws.
- Assist with the preparation, handling and movement of materials and components.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
- Assist with general manufacturing and workshop duties as required.
- Follow quality, safety and standard operating procedures at all times.
About You
You'll be reliable, safety-focused, take pride in your workmanship and enjoy working as part of a collaborative manufacturing team.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant or within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience using workshop machinery or hand and power tools.
- Positive mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- A strong commitment to quality workmanship.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential).
Experience operating cylindrical grinders or working with precision machined components would be highly regarded, however full training will be provided for the right person.
