Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality and Compliance Advisor to join our team. This Permanent Full-Time role is responsible for supporting and enhancing quality and compliance systems, governance, workforce capability and continuous improvement initiatives across our facilities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, supporting audit activities, monitoring quality outcomes, coordinating staff education programs and driving initiatives that promote excellence in service delivery and resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Quality and Compliance

· Maintain and monitor quality management systems to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

· Conduct planned and unplanned internal audits and monitor corrective actions through to completion.

· Support preparation for external audits, accreditation reviews and compliance assessments.

· Coordinate policy and procedure reviews ensuring documentation remains current and aligned with organisational requirements.

· Assist in the development and implementation of organisational risk management strategies.

· Manage and maintain Continuous Improvement Registers ensuring actions are documented, monitored and successfully closed.





· Analyse incidents, complaints and operational risks to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

· Prepare quality reports, audit summaries, compliance updates and risk dashboards for management and governance committees.

· Monitor compliance with mandatory reporting obligations and regulatory requirements.

· Support consumer feedback processes and quality improvement initiatives that enhance resident experiences and outcomes.

Learning and Development

· Coordinate and deliver education programs for clinical, care and support staff.

· Develop and maintain the annual training calendar ensuring compliance with mandatory training requirements.

· Facilitate education programs including mandatory training, clinical competencies, infection prevention and control, medication safety, person-centred care, dementia support, SIRS, restrictive practices and the Code of Conduct.

· Conduct competency assessments and support staff in maintaining required skills and knowledge.

· Support onboarding, orientation and induction programs for new employees.

· Identify learning and development needs through audits, compliance reviews, incident trends and staff feedback.

· Provide coaching, mentoring and education to support continuous improvement and best-practice service delivery.

· Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, professional development and quality improvement.





· Maintain accurate training records and contribute to governance reporting relating to workforce capability and compliance.

Qualifications

· Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Health, Quality Management, Education, Business, Human Services or a related discipline.

· Demonstrated experience in quality, compliance, audit, governance, learning and development or continuous improvement within the aged care, healthcare, community services or related sectors.

· Sound understanding of aged care legislation, quality standards, governance frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements.

· Experience developing, coordinating and delivering training and education programs.

· Experience conducting audits, analysing data and preparing reports for management and stakeholders.

· Strong organisational, problem-solving, facilitation and analytical skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· National Police Clearance.

· Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and learning or reporting systems.
