Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East.

About the position

St Mary MacKillop is one of the leading Early Learning Centres providing exceptional long daycare services to the local community of Pioneer and Mount Isa. The service features a vibrant five-room facility, with spacious, well-equipped resources and beautiful indoor and outdoor areas.

Our centre is seeking a dedicated Service Director to lead the operation of our service in a fixed-term full-time parental leave cover position until February 2027 , working 38 hours per week .

You will have the support of an Assistant Director to help guide the service's development to meet local needs, with additional assistance from your Business Operations Consultant and other experts in their fields from Mary MacKillop Childcare NQ.

What you’ll need to succeed

- Diploma of Early Childhood & Care or an equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
- Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid, CPR,



Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering education and/or care of children
- Ability to develop and continually build professional relationships with the team, families and stakeholders
